A note of appreciation

Everyone likes to be appreciated and 37 employees of Rich’s Graviss company are no different,as they were felicitated for 25 years of service at the annual family meet held recently. The event that took place at Bhosari started off with an orchestral performance by the employees of the company which was followed by the felicitation ceremony and dinner. The family meet happens every year but this year it’s special as many of our employees are completing 25 years of service. As a token of gratitude and appreciation,we added the felicitating ceremony, said Moses Mhankale,HR manager. Employees’ children who scored above distinction in their Class X and XII examinations were also awarded cash prizes. Various games and activities including mehendi,tattoo designing and camel rides were organised for family members of employees.

Energy boosters

The recent collaboration between Racold and Green Energy Foundation aims to recognise housing associations and families that make an effort in being more energy efficient. Announcing the launch of the Energy Efficient Housing Society Contest,the two companies intend to spread awareness and promote consciousness to save energy without sacrificing the standard lifestyle. The contest was announced on April 24 and will continue till the end of July. The participating housing societies will have to make an energy managing committee with the society members. The jury will pre-evaluate the prevailing energy usage and after the contest ends will compare the energy usage over the contest period with the preceding year’s energy usage. Criteria for judging is based on the amount of electricity the society consumes,past or present effort taken by the society to prevent wastage of energy and so on. For details,visit Racold.com. The top three winning societies will be rewarded with Rs 2 lakhs,Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 respectively. Special prizes would also be given to individual houses for innovative ways of saving energy. There is no registration fee.
