MANS has prepared a questionnaire which the competing astrologers and fortune tellers will have to answer accurately if they want to win Rs 21 lakh prize money, Hamid Dabholkar said in a press release.

ASTROLOGERS who claim they can predict the future are in for a windfall if they get their numbers spot on in these elections.
The Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti (MANS) headed by Hamid Dabholkar, son of slain activist Dr Narendra Dabholkar, has offered a reward of Rs 21 lakh to astrologers and fortune tellers if they accurately predict the results of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
MANS has prepared a questionnaire which the competing astrologers and fortune tellers will have to answer accurately if they want to win Rs 21 lakh prize money, Hamid Dabholkar said in a press release.
Among the questions that have been asked are — which constituency in the country will get the highest NOTA votes? Who will get the least votes in constituencies like Baramati, Ladakh, Nalanda, Raipure and others ?
The anti-superstition organisation has also said that it wants to know from astrologers, as to how many votes Rahul Gandhi and Kangana Ranaut will get. Gandhi is contesting from Wayand in Kerala while Kangana is contesting from Mandi in Himachal.
Hamid Dabholkar said the initiative is aimed at creating awareness among people. ”Astrologers try to mislead and spread superstition through false claims. We want to create awareness among people about superstition,” he said.
