Students march for zero waste

Scores of students from different colleges took part in an awareness march about zero waste campaign aimed at reducing environmental pollution.

The march was organised by the forum,the Organisation of Social Service and Trust (OSST),on Sunday.

A replica of the Brazilian Carnival conveyed the importance of effective waste management. Popular cartoon characters Greeny the Great,Salvation of pollution ,Eco Vicco friendly and Ghost of waste were used to spread lessons on pollution to the masses in an attractive manner.
