Journalism of Courage
The Asmita Chitra Academy,founded by Marathi film and TV actor Smita Talwalkar,is all set to start two new training programmes spread over three and six months. The announcement was made at Hotel Orbett on July 10. During these short-term courses,lessons on theatre basics,camera handling,editing and screenplay writing would be introduced to the candidates. As part of the course,all candidates would be given an opportunity to make a main stage performance at Bharat Natya Mandir. Directors Yogesh Fulfagar and Digpal Lanjekar along with Ashish Girme,Sudhanwa Panse and Meenakshi Shidore will be the trainers at the academy.
