I feel Andrew Garfield will suit the role better because Tobey Maguire is growing old and a younger actor like Garfield would do wellin the role of Spider-Man. Also,since he has starred in films like Never Let Me Go,he will bring more sensitivity to the role of Spider-Man. Plus,he is also very good looking and I’m looking forward to see if the chemistry between him and the current female lead will work. As far as his acting skills go,they’ve been proved by his previous roles.

I feel that Tobey Maguire suited the role better because he could switch between his alter-ego Spider-Man and his day-time job as a photographer,with a lot of ease. Garfield is a good actor and is known to share good chemistry with his female co-stars in films. But,since the target audiences for these films will still be a very young one,Garfield will not be able to do a lot of justice to the role unless he connects to all age groups as well as Maguire did.

I’m very surprised that Garfield will be the new Spider-Man. But I am also quite excited to see him in the role. I feel the Spider-Man franchise will really benefit from this switch of lead actors. Andrew Garfield will attract a better audience than Maguire as he is a good actor and will be a refreshing change.

Well,I feel that Tobey Maguire suits the role perfectly especially because his perception of the character has received rave reviews across the globe. I also think that his on-screen chemistry with the female lead was very good. So I am not really sure whether Andrew Garfield would be able to do justice to the role. Moreover,I really don’t think that there was any need to replace Maguire in the first place,as he has proved that he is a much more accomplished choice to portray the character.
