The ASM Group of Institutes,Chinchwad,Pune organised a special session on Union Budget on Tuesday. The main objective of the discussion was to provide an insight into the budget presented in Parliament and its detailed information for the benefit of management students,since they are the future managers of our country.
The discussions saw enthusiastic participation of the students from all Institutes of the ASM Group. Experts on the subjects like V M Kale,Vishwas Deshmukh and Dr Kamlakar Parchure were present.
Kale explained the effects of budget provisions of taxes on common man,receipts and expenditure to achieve the balance. Vishwas Deshmukh lamented the absence of relief to small businessmen and agriculture sector to improve productivity.
Parchure highlighted the working of the Indian economy in general to the students,effects of direct,indirect taxes on price rise and inflation in the long run. Dr Subodh Joshi and Prof Satyen Marathe moderated the discussions.
