The first CD of the series Aatman-The soul of India was released recently. Titled- Dincharya –Key to a stress free day,the CD was released at the hands of Pramod Chaudhari,chairman,Praj Industries at Balgandharwa Rang Mandir. The CD is a compilation of Sanskrit shlokas in poetic form along with their translation in three different languages- Marathi,English and Hindi. Narration about the meaning of shlokas in Hindi and English has been done by veteran actor Tom Alter whereas noted actor Sachin Khedekar has given his voice for Marathi translation. The recital of shlokas has been contributed by Manjiri Dhamankar and noted singer Ravindra Sathe along with music composed by Chaitanya Kunte.

Director’s choice
With the shooting of his much-talked about directorial debut- Aghat currently on at Bharati Vidyapeeth,veteran actor Vikram Gokhale can be spotten in and around the campus quite often. Also a part of the team are — veteran artists Kiran Kumar,Mukta Barve,Kadambri Kadam,Madhav Abhyankar and so on. “I have acted in different films under exceptionally talented directors. It requires great amount of patience and energy to get through the shots. The movie is based on one of the novels written by Nitin Lavangare,and it depicts the dilemma of a doctor dealing with emotions of the patient and professionalism,” says Gokhale. With a shooting schedule of over 25 days,the film is expected to be released in the market by March- April.
