Over a cup of coffee
Bollywood stalwarts Mugdha Godse and Shreyas Talpade were recently spotted sipping coffee at one of the newly launched coffee joints in the city. The duo descended from the tinsel town for the launch of Aromas,an Australian coffee chain that opened its first café outlet in Pune at Dhole Patil Road. Godse, who is born and brought up in Pune got an excuse to visit her hometown, the sexy lass shared her coffee sipping experince in the city. I love coming down to the city at the drop of a hat because of its chilled out, relaxing ambience. I first encountered Aromas when I was shooting for my upcoming film Jail near an outlet and as I am a total coffee and tea person,I ordered their Black Spice Tea special. Ever since I tasted the tea,Ive been a fan. So I couldnt let go of this opportunity where I could be a part of something which brings together both Pune and Aromas.
One for the writers
For all those people who aim to become hotshot film writers, there is good news in the offing. Swapneet Singh, former creative director of Percept Picture Company will be conducting a script-writing workshop. Speaking more about it,Singh, who has completed his film school diploma from the Hollywood Film School in Los Angeles, says,Almost everyone, common people and well-known personalities, have a story to tell. What is more important is the fact that people refuse to bring these stories to the notice of the world because they feel apprehensive about it. The workshop will deal with not only how to write scripts but also overcome such inhibitions. Adding more he says,The workshop will be held on October 3 and 4,at the Turf Club House from 10 am to 6 pm. The workshop will deal with basic techniques to write stories, the internationally-accepted method of writing scripts, form structure and character development and the method to pitch the story in the film industry. The most important aspect about learning script writing is the ability to identify a story and be able to develop it into a full fledged film script. Whether the story is simple or elaborate is immaterial, but it is important to be able to identify the same.
