Layering,grading,texturing and highlights are the keystones of Sangeetas works,with a colour palette of muted gold and silver. The exhibition is on till August 7 at Azad Bhavan,IP Estate,New Delhi,11am to 6pm.

Dramarama Delhi-based theatre group Sparsh Natya Rang presents Hriday Manch,the second edition of the groups theatre festival. This year,they have lined up an impressive array of plays to be staged over four days,including Bechaara Bhagwaan,an in-house production,and Arvind Gaurs Moteram Ka Satyagraha. Building Dreams
When Devji Shrimali sat in his tiny studio in Gujarat,he would imagine his dream home and his mind would be filled with architectural Ideas. Inspired,he went on to create 94 paintings exploring physical architecture and the architecture of the mind. Of them,Shrimali will exhibit 30 of them at Architecture Fantasy,at Darpan Art Gallery,Patrakar Nagar,off Senapati Bapat Road. On till August 6.
Key to Classics Notes of classical masters such as George Gershwin,Isaac Albeniz and Robert Schumann will soar at Mazda Hall,as musical duo ANJO present a classic soprano and piano recital. Organised by the Poona Music Society,the act that comprises Joanne DMello (vocals) and Andrea Fernandes (piano),will take the audience through a programme of song,lieder and opera arias. On August 6 at 7 pm. It is open and free for all.

As part of the Chandigarh Arts and Heritage Festival,the Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi has invited artist Sudhir Patwardhan for a slide presentation on his works,titled Observation,Expression and Structure,followed by a workshop with 10 young artists from the tricity. The presentation will take place on August 19 at Government Museum & Art Gallery,5 pm,while the workshop will be held between August 16 and 20,11 am to 6 pm.
