The Chhatrapati Shivaji statue will be erected at the NDA campus during the Passing out Parade to take place by end of May. The structure is ready and the statue,made by Nilesh Khedkar,is expected to be installed at the campus, said Lt colonel (retired) B C Joglekar. The PMC had sanctioned Rs 3 crore for the installation of the statue on the NDA campus. The NDA,as a policy,does not install statues on its own,but accepts it from the state government or other organisations.
