Sufi Sama a musical concert by senior tabla player Ustad Kausar Ali,Sitar player Pt. Narendra Mishra and Sarangi Player Pt. Dilshaad Khan was a treat to music lovers in Pune. Organised recently by Rotary Club- Pune West Side at Poona Club the show was a fund raiser for social activities. The event started with solo performance by Pt. Kausar Ali by playing Sufi Kalam. He also presented a a new form called maun-tabla. Sufi devotional songs like Kabe mein tera jalwa hai,Kashi mein Nazara hai sung by Ustad Kausar Ali with Pt. Narendra Mishra on sitar and Pt. Dilshaad Khan on Sarangi with Karim Niyaji (Harmonium) and Naeem Khan (Tabla) were also performed.

Actor Sachin Khedekar inaugurated the Rudraksha Fest at Eshan’s Emporium,Tilak Road,recently. Organised on the occasion of Shravan,the festival will offer a wide range of rudrakash stones from Indonesia,India,and Nepal.
