Pune hospital hosts 19th edition of EMINDIA 2023
The five-day event, which commenced on Wednesday (August 23), kick-started with interactive workshops and training sessions for emergency medicine experts.

Dr DY Patil Medical College, Hospital, and Research Centre in Pune is hosting the 19th edition of EMINDIA 2023 — an annual mega-conference focusing on development, innovations, and outlook in the field of emergency medicine.
The five-day event, which commenced on Wednesday (August 23), kick-started with interactive workshops and training sessions for emergency medicine experts. The academic conclave scheduled for Saturday and Sunday was inaugurated by Dr PD Patil, chancellor of Dr DY Patil Vidyapeeth (deemed to be university) in Pimpri, and Dr Jonathan Jones, president of American Academy of Emergency Medicine, with others present at the event.
The conference was hosted in partnership with the WHO Collaborating Centre for Emergency and Trauma in Southeast Asia, World Academic Council of Emergency Medicine (WACEM), and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Nagpur; under the patronage of Academic College of Emergency Experts in India (ACEE), Emergency Medicine Association (EMA), and INDUSEM.
Experts such as Dr Sagar Galwankar, CEO of INDUSEM and president of ACEE; Dr Sanjeev Bhoi, assistant professor of Emergency Medicine at AIIMS in New Delhi; professor and Dr Siddharth P Dubhashi, HoD (Surgery) and dean (Student Welfare) at Nagpur AIIMS, along with representatives from DPU Private Super Specialty Hospital, Pimpri in Pune were present. The theme was “patient-centered education, research, and care”.
