Maharashtra Ganpati Visarjan Live News Updates: Devotees gather across Maharashtra to bid farewell to Lord Ganesha, as Ganesh Chaturthi concludes today. Cities like Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur are witnessing vibrant celebrations with dhol-tasha processions filling the streets. The India Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rainfall throughout the day.

In Pune, this year’s procession is expected to be shorter than usual, with police urging mandals to curtail the scale. The five Manache Ganpatis — Kasba Peth, Tambdi Jogeshwari, Guruji Talim, Tulsibaug, and Kesariwada, lead the immersion procession, which typically passes through Belbaug Chowk and onto key routes like Laxmi Road and Tilak Road. These arterial roads are closed to traffic to accommodate the celebrations, which include traditional dhol-tasha pathaks, art performances, and colourful rangoli decorations, as thousands of citizens line the streets to watch.
