PM Modi’s Pune visit: No parking on four arterial roads in city today

Pune police traffic control branch has notified no parking areas on four arterial roads in the city on Tuesday, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the city and address a rally for the upcoming assembly elections. The rally will take place at SP College Ground to campaign for BJP and Mahayuti candidates.

A notification in this regard was issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Amol Zende on Monday evening. Parking on both sides of the road has been banned on the following four arterial roads from 6 am till midnight on Tuesday — road connecting Golf Club Chowk to Ambedkar Chowk; Jangali Maharaj Road from Sancheti Chowk to Khandojibaba Chowk; Fergusson College Road from Khandojibaba Chowk to Veer Chapekar Chowk; and Shastri Road from Tilak Chowk to Nath Pai Chowk.

The traffic police had earlier issued a separate notification on road closures and diversions in the central parts of the city for PM Modi’s visit on Tuesday.
