The weekend is here and Sonali Jadhav has the perfect red dress to set the mood. She feels the colour will boost her confidence on the dance floor. But she wont be the only one wearing the colour this weekend. A whole bunch of partygoers is ready to paint the town red as they head to various nightclubs.
Event management companies,Destiny of Sounds and Crème Ventures,are all set to host a Red Tie party at One Lounge on Sunday. While men will have to sport red ties,women have the leverage of turning up the heat in a red top,dress or even red lipstick. The highlight will neither be the music,nor the innovative red drinks,the focus will be on attempting to set a world record. Imagine going to work on Monday and when someone asks you what you did on the weekend,your answer could be that you set a world record, says Rohit Jacob,Director,Creme Ventures.
Girish Dias,who is hosting his birthday party at Penthouze on September 5,says the colour was the main attraction for him to plan the party. Red invokes a naughty,feisty and fun side in people. It is easily found in the wardrobes of party hoppers, says Dias. He will serve a red velvet cake to his guests and plans to have his menu full of red-coloured treats. I have also told friends to wrap my gifts in red, says Dias.
