Online results not that helpful,marksheets come later: students

Ashwin Dhakras,a student of Dr Shamrao Kalmadi Junior College,said,“It surely has reduced the time we were kept waiting for the results. I will keep my fingers crossed till I get the marksheet in my hand. It has been observed that there are several mistakes on the websites and this adds to the anxiety of the students. We have no way to find out if it’s a mistake or not till we get our mark sheets.”

Nikhil Biniwale,another student of the same college,who is planning to apply for geology or astrology courses in Fergusson College or St Xavier’s,Mumbai,is of the view that though the system informs you of the marks a little early,it does not make much of a difference as we get the mark sheets only later.

“Knowing my marks early has helped me a little as I now know what colleges I stand a chance of getting through. I can plan things better,but the actual process of applying for admission can start only after I get my mark sheets.”
