In 20th century,business demanded capital and money. But today anyone can become a businessman with the help of new concepts and knowledge, said computer expert Dr Deepak Shikarpurkar.
He was speaking at a function organised by the Army Institute of Technology (AIT) to give away the young businessmen awards.
On the occasion,Touch Magic India Pvt Ltd’s founder Anoop Tapadiya and Quick Heal Technologies CEO Kailas Katkar were honoured with the Young Businessmen awards.
AIT director Brig Swapan Lahiri,Col V B Shrikhande and Principal V P Gosavi were present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering Dr Shikarpur said,New and developed technology has opened gates to unlimited knowledge. Students should take advantage of this opportunity. There is an ideal age to become something in life. A lot of good could be accomplished if youngsters decide what they want to be in life at the right time. Students should take inspiration from the young businessman.
Research gives new and creative ideas which helps to overcome difficulties, said Tapadiya. To catch the road side accused is difficult. But to control cyber crime is much easier due to the highly developed technology, he added.
