Music for a Cause

Sonam Kalra and the Sufi Gospel Project performed their popular tracks such as Hallelujah,while singer-songwriter Akshay Deodhar performed his signature song,Morning Coffee

It was a weekend of unwinding with music,dining and cameraderie at the Jadhavgadh Fort,where the first edition of the Jadhavgadh Music Festival saw artistes come down from across the country to serenade the audience. Sonam Kalra and the Sufi Gospel Project performed their popular tracks such as Hallelujah,while singer-songwriter Akshay Deodhar performed his signature song,Morning Coffee. Other artistes and bands included raga pianist, Utsav Lal,classic rock band Applied For,The Beatles Tribute Band and multi-genre band Something Relevant. The fest was hosted on Saturday and Sunday at the scenic fort 30 km from Pune city, placed at 2,511 feet above sea level. The new BMW Mini Cooper was also unveiled at the festival.

Splashing Moves<\b>

An aqua dance workshop was conducted by Shiamak Davar International at Club Solaris on Tuesday morning. A number of participants danced to Bollywood hits in a pool. The workshop gave participants a chance to enjoy the benefits of dance in a swimming pool,and included dynamic movement and active stretches taking the joy of dance to a new dimension.
