The Mumbai women’s team defeated Baroda womens team by 10 wickets in the West Zone womens one day tournament being held at the PYC Gymkhana cricket ground.
Afetr winning the toss and electing to bat,Baroda Scored 125 runs for the loss of nine wickets,said a press release issued here on Friday.
TK Bera scored 40 runs off 92 balls,supported by LJ Tomar who remained unbeaten on 25. SG Rozario,and SV Sakru picked up two wickets each for Mumbai. The Baroda innings saw four run outs,said the release.
In reply Mumbai managed to reach the target in just 31.3 overs without the loss of a single wicket.
Openers P.G. Raut scored 70 runs from109 balls,and RA Bhoplakar contributed 40 runs off 80 balls to take their side to victory.
