Minors go on rampage, damage several vehicles in Kondhwa lane
As per the FIR, four youngsters with masks arrived at the location on two-wheelers around 1:30 am, allegedly carrying sharp weapons.

A group of minor boys went on a rampage damaging several private vehicles parked on a public road in lane number 2 of Mitha Nagar, Kondhwa, around 1:30 am.
An auto rickshaw driver Atiq Ahmad Shaikh (48) and resident of Mitha Nagar has lodged the first information report (FIR) in this case at the Kondhwa police station.
As per the FIR, four youngsters with masks arrived at the location on two-wheelers around 1:30 am, allegedly carrying sharp weapons.
The group damaged several vehicles including Shaikh’s auto rickshaw which was parked near his house. In total, three auto rickshaws, two cars and about five two-wheelers in the area were damaged by the group causing panic among the residents.
After receiving information, a team of Kondhwa police station rushed to the spot and based on the complaint filed by Shaikh, four accused persons were booked under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) sections 324 (4), 324 (5) and sections of the Indian Arms Act.
As per officials, the accused were tracked down with the help of CCTV footage.
Senior police inspector Vinayak Patankar said the accused in this case are minor boys. Probe revealed that the accused minors had created the ruckus over a dispute with some boys. Further investigation is on, police said.
