MCCIA to hold two-day Skillcon from March 12

Skillcon,a conference on skill development would be inaugurated on Tuesday March 12. The two-day conference is being jointly organised by Mahratta Chamber of Commerce Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) and Edge Forum. The conference would see the convergence of a large number of experts from industries,educational sector exchanging notes on betterment of skills to make the educated youths employable.The high point of the conference would be the unveiling of the special focus report on Skill Development by Deloitte Haskins & Sells by Vedamoorthy Namasivayyam director government utilities Infrastructure Development council. This report,with its focus on Maharashtra would help fine tune government policies regarding the development of skills in the state. A delegation of educational institutes from Australia would also be visiting this conference.
