Shades of creativity will greet you at the various art exhibitions being held in the city this week
Art
* Konkanachi Manas,a painting exhibition by Amol V Waghmode and Sameer M Bhide is on till January 22 at Art2Day Gallery,near Hirabaug Chowk,Tilak Road.
* A watercolour painting exhibition of landscapes titled Spirit of Place by artist Ravi Songirkar is on till January 20 at Grubshup Art Hub,Law College Road,Near SNDT Chowk.
* Kudal Hiremath presents a vibrant collection of paintings called ‘Race’. The exhibition began of January 18 and ends on January 27 at Ray Art Gallery,Shivajinagar,Off F C Road,from 11 am to 7 pm.
* An exhibition of 151 Lord Ganesha paintings by artist V R Sali will be held on January 25 at Balgandharva Art Gallery,J M Road.
* Artistic creations by Nivas Govardhan Kanhere are on display till January 31 at Malaka Spice,Lane No 5,Koregaon Park.
* Maruti Patils works will be exhibited at Darpan Art Gallery,Senapati Bapat Road,near Kamayani School,till January 24.
* Amazing Waterscapes by Shailesh Sonawane is being exhibited till January 30 at Bliss Art Gallery,Koregaon Park.
* Shades of Life by father-daughter duo Suresh and Bhawana Choudhary will be on display at The Renaissance Art Studio,off Pashan Road.
* Hamaosht,an art exhibition by A S Chitrak,inspired by Rumi and Bulleh,will be on at Ishanya,Tilting Art Gallery,from January 21 to February 2.
* The hand-embroidery paintings by Lalita Paranjpe of Paranjpe Embroidery Class and her students will be on display at Balgandharva Rangmandir till January 24,10 am to 8 pm.
Music
* A concert titled Swar Sandhya with Suresh Patki will be held on January 21 at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad,off North Main Road,Koregaon Park.
* Vasantotsav,a three-day music festival,will see performances by artistes Rahul Deshpande,Shashank Subramanyam,Vijay Ghate,George Brooks and more. The festival is on at New English School,Raman Baug ground from January 21-23,5.30 pm to 10 pm.
* The Poona Music Society in association with the Goethe Institute (Max Mueller Bhavan,Pune) presents Mahler Chamber Orchestra Soloists that will feature Henja Semmler,Christian Heubes,Delphine Tissot and more on January 25 at Mazda Hall,7 pm.
* A concert of maestros Pandit Shivkumar Sharma and Ustad Zakir Hussain will take place on January 22 at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch at 6.30 pm.
Dance
* Look out for 50 performers,musicians,theatrical acts,dance performances of all styles and fusion with fire at ‘The Diva Night For Children Let the Magic Begin!’ by the Diva Belly Dance Academy which will be held on January 22 at Ishanya Amphitheater,5 pm onwards.
