Use drones, virtual reality in combat engineering projects: Army Chief General Manoj Pande

“Your focus should extend beyond conventional methodologies, incorporating new concepts and cutting-edge digital engineering practices. You need to be proficient in leveraging advanced technologies like carrying out surveys by drones and augmented and virtual reality and its usage to visualise and simulate project scenarios.” The Chief said in his address.

Gen Pande, himself an alumnus of the CME, said, “New structural technologies and rapid construction methods have come to the fore in the construction landscape. These include precast construction, pre-engineered building 3D printing and light gauge construction. So absorb these current best practices and introduce them in your execution.”
