Lensman looted of camera,valuables

A photographer working with a Marathi daily was allegedly robbed of his valuables worth Rs 45,000 including his camera by some unidentified persons on Fergusson College Road recently.

A photographer working with a Marathi daily was allegedly robbed of his valuables worth Rs 45,000 including his camera by some unidentified persons on Fergusson College Road recently. Mukund Milind Kadam (33),a resident of Ambedkar Housing society in Yerawada registered a complaint at Deccan Gymkhana police station. Investigating officer PSI U S Yadav said,“Around 12.25 am on Wednesday,Four persons stopped him near the bus stop opposite Roopali restaurant and threatened him with a knife. They snatched his bag and cell phone and other valuables. His SLR camera and a lens was inside the bag.” Police said,“We have launched a search operation in the are and have stepped up security.”
