‘Joy of Giving Week’ kicks off

To lend a helping hand to the needy,the Social development department of TATA Motors has taken up a project Vastradaan yagna on the occasion of Joy of Giving week’ ,which started here today and will conclude on October 2. It has made an appeal to the people to participate in this project by giving away old and unused clothes to the needy.

This ‘Vastradaan’ will be accepted at about 31 social development centers of TATA Motors in the Pune,Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The collected clothes will be processed and distributed to the needy people through ‘Goonj’ institute. The information of this project was given in the volunteers meeting at TATA Motors.

Jasmin Vadhvan,founder member of Joy of Giving Week’,Rohit Singh – Maharashtra co-ordinator of Goonj,Prashant Ahir – General Manager HRD TATA Motors,Shrirang Dhavale – Senior Manager social development department addressed the meeting.
