JN Petit School make it three out of three

Hosts Loyola High School continued their fine form by winning both their matches on the third day of the invitational Loyola Football Cup 2013.

Hosts Loyola High School continued their fine form by winning both their matches on the third day of the invitational Loyola Football Cup 2013. The tournament is being jointly organised by Loyola High School and Ex Loyola Alumni (ELAN).

In the first match of the day,Loyola High School beat SSPMS (Day) 3-0 in the under-12 category. Surya Ghogate scored a brace while Neel Joshi scored the third goal.

In the match of the day,Abhinav Vidyalaya High School gave JN Petit High School a run for their money before losing out narrowly 4-2 in the under-12 category. Maitreya Awad’s brace coupled with a goal apiece from Gaurav Dore and Atharva Lonkar helped JN Petit High School best goals from Shaunak Dandekar and Atharva Kshirsagar who propelled Abhinav Vidyalay High School very close to an upset.

In the under-14 category,Loyola High School beat SSPMS (Day) 2-0 with Shreepad Dhorge and Atharva Shrotri getting on the score sheet.

JN Petit High School recorded a facile 4-0 victory over Police Public School. JN Petit High School had Abhijit Khatri’s hat-trick to thank for their commanding win while Deepankar Shinde also helped himself to a goal.

In the under-16 category,JN Petit High School rounded off a good day with a 5-0 thrashing of Abhinav Vidyalay High School. Prabhuda Gaikwad’s brace along with goals from Rishikesh M,Nitin Ingulkar and Gaurav Swaminathan helped JN Petit High School to a big win.
