“Probe suggests that these suspects had been receiving online bets and money for at least six different betting websites. All the arrested suspects are from Chhattisgarh and we have reasons to believe that their operations were on the radar of the state police in Chhattisgarh and to evade that, they flew to Pune to operate. We have launched a probe into their criminal history,” an officer from the crime branch said.

The arrested suspects have been identified as Mukesh Sahu (24), Devendra Yadav (21), Jaswant Sahu (30), Rahul Yadav (22), Rohit Yadav (26), Dushyant Sonkar (24), Sandeep Meshram (21), Akhileshwar Thakur (24), Mohammed Saudagar (32) and Amit Shendge (32).
