Various organisations have condemned the blast that killed 10 persons so far. The Lokmanya Tilak Pratishthan has organised a human chain at Shaniwarwada on Saturday as a mark of protest against the attack. Tribute would be paid by lighting candles.
Politicians,social activists,actors,educationists,traders and others would participate in the human chain. The Pratishthan has also made an appeal to people to take part in it.
In a press release,Janparishad Samajwadi said even though such terror attacks would hardly make the terrorists succeed in their nefarious intentions,such incidents needed to be condemned.
The Popular Front of India has demanded the state as well as the Centre to launch an impartial probe into the incident and bring the real culprits before law. ‘It is so serious that blasts are occurring repeatedly and the security agencies always fail to check it. When the enquiry is not proper and innocents are arrested,a community gets restless and the real culprits remain scot-free to engage themselves in further crimes.’
The Pune chapter of India People’s Forum Peace and Democracy made a similar demand of going to the root of the issue and get hold of the real culprits and continue talks with Pakistan.
