Sharing screen space with master actor Naseeruddin Shah and Sunny Leone in a single project, actor Sachiin Joshi seems to have hit a professional jackpot. In the middle of touring cities to promote his film Jackpot, which is set to release on the once-in-a-century date 13/12/13 Joshi talks about learning from Shah, the intimate scenes with Leone and knowing her as more than a glamour doll.
The actor, who is two films old in Bollywood, says when director Kaizad Gustad narrated the script,he instantly wanted to be a part of it. The film is a comedy set amid the world of casino boats and gambling in Goa. Joshi plays the role of Francis,an ambitious Goan boy. Kaizads wit is contagious and I got hooked, says Joshi, who grew up in Pune and still calls it home.
On his intimate scenes with Leone, the actor says it is not the films highlight. The script is the films strength. But Leone is known for her glamour quotient,so there were bound to be some scenes, says Joshi. He shares that he and Leone have been friends since she is the brand ambassador of an energy drink that his fathers company produces. Sunny is very hardworking and a child at heart. She would play pranks on the sets. Working with her was fun, he says.
