Here Comes the Queen

Young models gave the ramp the best they had at the Alcon Royce Queen of Queens 2011 event,recently held at Vivanta By Taj Blue Diamond. The participating models – winners of various beauty pageants – walked with their crowns and titles during the introduction round. They were dressed in ghagras and saris designed by Naaz Shaikh. Next came the question and answer round,followed by a third round in which they were joined by hunky male models. Rukhsheen Vajifdar bagged the Queen of Queens 2011 crown,followed by Jibbie George and Prathana Narang as the runners up. The judges for the show,which was organised by JazzmatazzWorld,were architect and Alcon director,Rajesh Agrawal,actress Manjiri Phadnis,fashion stylist Mojo Shaikh,fashion designer Pooja Shah and the previous year’s winner Tanuka Laghate. The show was choreographed by Pooja Singh and the models were dolled up by Shwetambari Pol.
