Haryana Steelers etched their name in Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) history by clinching their maiden title with a 32-23 victory over Patna Pirates in the Season 11 final. The high-stakes match took place at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune, marking a momentous occasion for the Steelers, who topped the league stage this season.

The Steelers took control early, with Shivam Patare and Mohammadreza Shadloui leading the charge. Supported by a solid defensive unit led by Jaideep and Rahul Sethpal, the Steelers kept the Patna Pirates at bay, heading into halftime with a narrow 15-12 lead.

In the second half, the Pirates tried to claw back into the game, with Sudhakar and Ayan scoring vital points. However, the Steelers’ Show Stopper, Mohammadreza Shadloui, turned the game around with crucial plays, helping his team secure an ALL OUT and extend their lead to nine points. The Steelers maintained their composure in the final moments to close out the match and claim their first-ever PKL crown.

The victory saw stellar performances from Shivam Patare, who scored 9 points, Shadloui with 7 points, and Vinay adding 6. The Steelers were awarded Rs 3 crore as champions, while runners-up Patna Pirates took home Rs 1.8 crore.

Season 11 also celebrated individual achievements. Devank Dalal of Patna Pirates won Best Raider, and Nitesh Kumar of Tamil Thalaivas was named Best Defender. Mohammadreza Shadloui earned the prestigious Most Valuable Player award, further cementing his importance to the Steelers’ success.
