Yogesh Gogawale has been appointed the new BJP state secretary. In the appointment letter,BJP state chief Sudhir Mungantiwar said that Gogawale is being given the new responsibility in the party.
Gogawale,a close associate of BJP leader Gopinath Munde,had protested against appointment of Vikas Mathkari as Pune city unit chief and had led a faction of BJP to oppose the decision. He had also stayed away from party functions to register his protest after the state leaders did not respond to his complaint.
