From LA to India

LA India Film Council is organising an online short film contest for film students in India and Los Angeles. The contest is open to entries till August 14,after which the entries will be posted online for a public vote. The theme is ‘Hollywood – Bollywood’ and participants will be judged on their ability to create a film that bypasses geographical boundaries and appeals to an international audience. The contest will be judged by industry heavyweights such as Shekhar Kapur,Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra,Mahesh Bhatt and Nagesh Kukunoor.
