Fire at Yerwada workshop, godown; no casualties

Fire officials said that a workshop manufacturing sound boxes and a godown located near it were gutted. Firemen doused the flames within an hour, and then started the cooling operation.

A few vehicles parked near the godown were also damaged. Fire officials said an electricity transformer at the spot had also caught fire, but it was extinguished in a quick time.

Meanwhile, a probe was on to ascertain the cause behind the fire.
