D Y Patil Public School recently held its annual exhibition for the year 2011-12. The exhibition was on working models,demonstrations,charts,paintings,crafts,posters and experiments. Presented by students,it was an attempt to take knowledge out of the classroom and make it more relevant. Parents visited exhibition in large numbers. Mrudula Mahajan,headmistress,secondary school,and Catherine Fernandes,headmistress,primary school were the chief guests at the function.

Skating Wizs

The third Inter School Roller Skating Championship for International Schools concluded recently at the Symbiosis International School. Organised by Team Extreme Sports Academy and Sports Events in association with French Inline Cup,the competition saw m ore than 200 skaters from 15 international schools of Pune participate. The event was conducted in three categories beginners,quads and inline. RIMS International School,Symbiosis International School,Lexicon International School ,Sharad Pawar International School ,Mercedes Benz International School ,Riverdale International School ,Utpal Sangavi International School,Mumbai,Ecolle Mundial Internatioanl School Mumbai,Cathedral Vidya School,Lonavala,Victorious Kidss Educares ,Pune and few other schools participated in the competition.
