On the occasion of International Biodiversity Day (May 22),the Natural Resources Conservators Organisation (NRCO),a Pune-based non profit organisation,is organising a drawing competition at Sarasbaug,Pune between 7 am to 9.30 am on the theme Preserve Nature,Preserve Health on May 22. NRCO member Kiran Naik said,The poster may be painted in any colour medium. The competition will be held at three skill levels. These include the Foundation Level where school students may file their entries,Semi Professional level where students of advanced degree and diploma classes may participate and professional level for those already in fine art professionals. The NRCO spokesperson,Winner of the first three prizes in each category will be given a trophy,attractive gift packs and certificates at the hands of a well known personality. Moreover,the works of the participants would be showcased during the NRCOs ongoing public awareness campaign. A few select entries will also be displayed at website of NRCO. Besides,works of the participants may also find space in Brouchers being brought out by the NRCO. The results of the competition would be declared on June 5,2011,the spokesperson said.
