Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar reviewed steps taken on containment of the Nipah virus outbreak in Kerala’s Kozhikode.

She visited ICMR-NIV Institute in Pune to take stock of preparations. As per authorities, high-level Central and ICMR teams equipped with BSL-3 labs have Kozhikode for on-ground testing.
