‘Denotified tribes will get justice’: Sharad Pawar seeks Census on caste lines ‘

There was a time when denotified tribes were categorised as criminals. They were caged in barbed wire compounds. It was Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru who had gone to Solapur and freed the people of denotified tribes from their predicament.” On the occasion, former corporators Shrikant Patil and Sulakshna Shilwant and leaders like Devendra Tayade and Kashinath Nakhate were present.
