The DAV Regional Directorate,Western Region,recently organised a three-day principals symposium for the teachers and principals of the DAV Schools of western and southern region.
Pramod Mahajan,secretary,DAV College Managing Committee was the guest of honour. Also present at the occasion were Prof. Bhoumitra Dev,Vice Chancellor of Manglayatan University,Rashmi Chari,acting director,DAV Institute of In-Service Training
Programme and Dr K B Kushal,Regional Director DAV Schools,Western Region and Sita Kiran,Regional Director DAV Schools,Southern Region.
Speaking on the occasion,Pramod Mahajan,Secretary DAV College Managing Committee said,Teaching is a very noble profession. It is a commitment to the nation where a teacher commits to nurse and help a new generation to grow up in the right direction; a generation which will take over the country in future. Dr K B Kushal,director,DAV Schools,Western region said ,It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all. This symposium will help the teachers to monitor the CCE activities in their respective schools. The principals symposium was on mentoring and monitoring CCE (Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation) activities.
The symposium included workshops for teachers and principals of the DAV Schools from southern and western region. Also on this occasion the teachers of 10 th Std and 12 th Std students were felicitated.
