Cricket: Headquarter Delhi win

Pawan Kumar’s unbeaten 54 helped the Headquarter Delhi team to start their campaign on a winning note against South Zone in the 6th All India Prasar Bharati Trophy Cricket Tournament organised by the Prasar Bharati Cricket Club and played at the PYC Hindu Gymkhana ground,here today.

In the group A match,South Zone won the toss and elected to bat.

K.N. Ravikumar 26 (21 balls),S.S. Reddy 19 (30 balls),P. Victor 13 (31 balls),B.H. Arakeri 12 (18 balls),Sham Kadam 12 (8 balls),helped the team put up a total of 104 runs against the HQ Delhi. Baljit Singh of South Zone took 5 wickets just for 15 runs.

Headquarter Delhi achieved their target with four wickets to spare.
