BSNL employees’ strike affects services

The strike by BSNL employees entered the second day today,affecting telephone and mobile phone services on. While the customers faced difficulties in connecting BSNL mobile phones on Thursday,the number of faults remaining attended in land line services also increased. The BSNL employees excluding ITS officers have gone on a three-day strike for various demands,including cancellation of disinvestment plans and voluntary retirement scheme. The telephone customers could not pay their bills as no one was there in offices.
