Prisoner assaults man at Sassoon

A prisoner,who was brought to the Sassoon hospital for treatment of a skin problem,attacked a person following a petty dispute on Monday afternoon. Police said that Datta Sudram Kamble 23,who is lodged at Yerwada jail,was suffering from some skin disease. Police took him to Sassoon hospital for treatment around 12 noon. A man,identified as Uttam Waghmare,dashed Kamble by mistake while parking his two-wheeler. Enraged at this,Kamble used his handcuffs to hit Waghmare on the head. Waghmare suffered injuries. Police said Waghmare did not filed any complaint against Kamble. Senior Police Inspector U N Sonwane of Bund Garden Police Station confirmed the incident.
