Synefra bags Rs 21-crore order
Infrastructure solutions provider Synefra Engineering and Construction Ltd has bagged an order for construction of a super specialty hospital in Dharwad. The project to be completed by August 2012 is priced at Rs 21 crore and Synfera will carry out civil,structural and architectural work for the same. The contract which has been awarded by Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara college of medical sciences and hospital involves construction of a 350 bed hospital with a total built up area of 3,25,000 sq ft. which will offer super-specialty services in the disciplines of cardiology,cardio thoracic surgery,neurology,neuro surgery and plastic surgery to the population of Hubli-Dharwad and surrounding areas.
Award for Vascon MD Vasudevan
Rotary Club Pune,bestowed R Vasudevan,MD,Vascon Engineers Ltd with the vocational excellence award for the year 2010 – 2011. The award ceremony was held on May 13 at Bal Kalyan Sanstha,near Raj Bhavan,Pune,in the presence of a large gathering of rotarians. Vasudevan was awarded with a citation and gift by DG,Pramod Jejurikar,for his contributions to the field of construction.

Omkar Engineering Works has been appointed as an authorised dealer of Kirloskar Oil Engines,Pune for the entire Pune district. Earlier Omkar Engineering Works Company was an authorised dealer for seven talukas in the Pune District. R Deshpande,managing director,Kirloskar Oil Engines,inaugurated the Pune office of Omkar Engineering Works Pvt Ltd on Sinhagad Road. Indiacan opens centre in city
