The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Monday staged an agitation at the Regional Board of Technical Education (RBTE),demanding strict action in the latest incidents of question paper

leak during the ongoing diploma examination.

“Two cases of question paper leak in quick succession cannot take place unless insiders are involved. The Maharashtra Board of Technical Education should take the incidents of paper leak seriously. While police are investigating the cases separately, the board should initiate a high-level inquiry at its level to nab the guilty,”

said ABVP leader Vivekananda Ujlambkar.

“The cases of question paper leak, followed by reexamination, puts tremendous stress on students. It is in the best interest of thousands of diploma students that MSBTE takes the matter to its logical end and send a strong positive message to students,” he said.

A memorandum of demand was submitted to RBTE officials.

The MSBTE has been facing flak from different sections of society for the two recent incidents of question paper leak. Board officials said separate cases had been registered in both cases.
