5-day Sawai Gandharva Music Fest from Dec 18–22

Dates of the 70th edition of the iconic Sawai Gandharv Bhimsen Mahotsav organised by the Arya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal were announced by executive President Shrinivas Joshi in a press release.

The 5-day festival will be held at the Sports Complex of Maharashtriya Mandal at Mukund Nagar, just like every year, between December 18th and 22. Other details of the festival shall be announced soon.

The Sawai Gandharv is an iconic classical music festival in Pune with a lineup of musicians from across the country. It was renamed after the death of Bharat Ratna winner Pandit Bhimsen Joshi.

Last year, artistes like Kaushiki Chakraborty, Tukaram Daithankar, Shrinivas Joshi, Pournima Dhumale, Abhay Rustum Sopori, Yamini Reddy and many others were a part of the lineup.
