Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will address a meeting in Patna on January 18, to be held on the theme of safeguarding the Constitution of India. Several social and non-government organisations working for the Dalits, EBCs, minorities and labourers will attend the meet. This will be part of Gandhi's scheduled series of talks on the matter. He has already held similar meetings in Ranchi and Lucknow. Former Rajya Sabha MP and head of All India Pasmanda Muslim Mahaz, Ali Anwar Ansari, said: “It is a complete apolitical function in which Rahul Gandhi ji will be the only speaker.” The Congress leader's Patna visit holds more importance with Bihar going to polls later this year.
