A 50-year-old woman was assaulted by an unidentified man at her Altamount Road home on Tuesday.

A 50-year-old woman was assaulted by an unidentified man at her Altamount Road home on Tuesday. Police said Pratibha Thakkar suffered injuries on her face,head and shoulder and was taken to Jaslok Hospital. She was alone at home at the time of the incident. The man also snatched her mangalsutra and fled, a police officer said.
