“An intimate equation has to be established between Emraan Hashmi and me in the film. So it’s obvious that there would be some passionate scenes,” says the model-turned-actress,requesting people not to be too hung up about the issue. “That’s a part of the plot and it is my duty to abide by the script.”

In the film,being directed by Mohit Suri,Fernandez will be continuing from where Mallika Sherawat left off. Known for their bold themes for films,the actress has helped the Bhatts take it a step ahead. While one of the posters shows her in a backless dress seated in front of the mirror that reflects Hashmi’s face,the others show the couple getting intimate in car backseats. Despite those tell-tale posters,the actress insists that Murder 2 is unlike its first part,which had a lot of steamy scenes and skin show. “There is a presumption because of what people saw in Murder,”she adds.

Fernandez’s bold makeover can probably be attributed to her item number in Housefull (2010). This partly helped her regain her ground in Bollywood. “A new face pops up in Bollywood every single day which makes it difficult for you to stay in the game. Sajid Khan’s offer to do the sexy Dhanno number in Housefull came as a huge break,and scripts followed,” she says. The second installment of Housefull has Fernandez play a full-fledged role,which she was promised in return for the song.

But post Housefull 2,she will be back on screen opposite Emraan Hashmi in Raaz 3. Incidentally,glamour remains at the core of all her future assignments. But the 26-year-old doesn’t mind it at all. “As long as I get to dabble in different genres and look good at the same time,what’s wrong in that?”
