Earlier, CM Shinde held a video conference with Shiv Sena ministers, MPs, MLAs, and activists across the state to discuss the campaign’s rollout. “As part of the campaign, each Shiv Sainik will visit 15 households of beneficiaries. The goal is to ensure families are informed about these schemes, verify whether they have received benefits, assist those who haven’t, and explain the processes for other government initiatives,” Shinde said. He expressed confidence that this initiative will ensure that no one is excluded from benefiting the government’s welfare programmes.

Additionally, Shinde announced an extension for the registration of the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana until September 30, 2024. So far, nearly 2 crore women have applied for the scheme, with 1.69 crore already receiving direct financial benefits.

The Chief Minister also noted that over 5 crore citizens have benefited from various government schemes, including the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana, which recently increased its coverage limit from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.
