With Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar about to share the stage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday in Pune, Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut on Monday said there is a confusion about Pawar's stand, and it is upon him to clear it. Pawar will be sharing the stage with the PM on Tuesday, where the latter will receive an award instituted in the name of freedom fighter and Congressman Lokmanya Tilak. Raut said that Pawar is a key leader of the Opposition's INDIA coalition, and it is people's sentiment that he should not be attending the event. "People are restless and there is a visible unease about the politics being played in the last few years. And let those who play such politics get any award, we are not concerned about it. But people are confused when leaders of Maha Vikas Ahead (MVA) or INDIA attend such events. Pawar is an experienced leader, and we don’t need to tell him about this confusion,” Raut said. He further said that even though there is a confusion about Sharad Pawar's stand, the MVA and INDIA as an alliance at the Centre are strong.
